Joint website for Herald newspapers

Newsquest Glasgow titles The Herald and Sunday Herald will operate a joint website later this year.

The Evening Times will keep its own separate website and content for the websites will be provided by journalists currently working for all three newspapers. However, print editions of The Herald, Sunday Herald and Evening Times will retain their own exclusive stories and identities.

The websites will give visitors new digital content such as blogs, podcasts, video interviews and photo slideshows. User-generated content is also expected to be included, as well as interactive debate between readers.

David Milne, the Sunday Herald’s deputy editor, will be the new online editor.
