Kate Walsh is leaving The Sunday Times after nearly five years on the paper. Today will be her last day.

Walsh edited the Prufrock diary column and covered the retail and luxury goods sectors as well as hedge funds.

In October, she will become a headhunter with the board-level advisory firm Ridgeway Partners, where she will head up its retail and consumer goods business and join their board practice.

A replacement will be announced in due course. In the meantime, the business desk at The Sunday Times can be reached at business@sunday-times.co.uk.
