Lachlan Mackinnon leaves the Daily Mirror

Lachlan Mackinnon is leaving his role as the Daily Mirror’s health correspondent today (16 March) after applying for voluntary redundancy in order to relocate to Scotland.

He joined Trinity Mirror in August 2002 as a Glasgow-based news and health reporter for the Daily Record before transferring to his current role at the Mirror’s office in Canary Wharf, London.

Mackinnon said he enjoyed his 9.5 years with the company enormously and wished his friends and colleagues the very best for the future. Mackinnon said he is extremely excited by the prospect of taking on new challenges, particularly in public relations. He can be reached via LinkedIn or at
