Leicester Mercury editor change

The Leicester Mercury's Richard Bettsworth will serve his last day as editor at the paper on 29 August.

Kevin Booth will join as editor for the title on 8 September. He will be leaving his current role at the Burton Mail, with a replacement to be announced in due course. Bettsworth joined the Leicester Mercury in 2000 as a news editor, and has worked as editor for the last three years.
