Local News Glasgow, a free monthly newspaper for the whole of Glasgow city, has closed.

The independent title, published by YAM Publications (which has now closed along with the newspaper), was first launched in 1997 to serve the communities of Glasgow’s Southside. In 2009 it merged its Southside edition and its North, East and West edition to form one title.

Advertising sales manager Jo-Anne Kessler has plans to launch a new advertising-led publication, News in the City.
