London Live is to stop commissioning entertainment shows and focus on its news and current affairs output on the channel.

The move is designed to align the capital’s local TV service more closely with the print and online output of its parent company ESI Media, owner of the London Evening Standard.

It will affect the broadcaster’s commissioning and programming team, who will have their roles reassigned into the news and current affairs team over the coming months.
