Macdonell to leave The Scotsman
Hamish Macdonell, Scottish political editor at The Scotsman, is leaving after eight years at the paper.
Macdonell’s departure will coincide with the end of the Scottish Parliamentary session, after agreeing a voluntary redundancy package.
Prior to joining The Scotsman, he was Scottish political editor at the Daily Mail.
Macdonell will be freelancing after he leaves.
