Making News Pay annual conference from the Society of Editors
The Society of Editors’ Making News Pay annual conference kicks off this year from the evening of Sunday 18 October at Stationers' Hall, Ludgate Hill. Lectures on building audiences through social media, attracting advertising revenue, and raising revenue from content, will be delivered by former Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger, John Whittingdale MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and BBC Trust chairman Rona Fairhead, among other speakers. The Society’s annual black tie Gala Dinner will take place on Monday 19 October.
