Manchester Evening News appoints acting executive editor (digital)

Manchester Evening News has appointed Andrew Jackson as acting executive editor (digital).

He joins the paper from The Huddersfield Daily Examiner where he was executive editor (digital and print).

Jackson replaces Sarah Lester in the role who has been seconded for six months to work on digital projects across the Trinity Mirror regional network including election planning and coverage.
