Manchester PR agency Smoking Gun has won the project of handling the publicity for the third annual Manchester Science Festival which takes place 23rd-31st October.

Smoking Gun PR won the competitive three-way pitch with a campaign aimed at driving footfall to events, a highly visual Festival launch event and with the aim of building on the Festival’s growing social media presence.

The Manchester Science Festival attracts leading international names and is the biggest of its kind in the country, pulling together over 150 individual science events from across Greater Manchester. This year the festival is celebrating biodiversity – as part of the United Nations official International Year of Biodiversity.
