Mercieca wins client and award

Mercieca has been appointed to handle trade advertising for Funkin, a UK fruit puree producer.

Funkin wants to actively engage with the on-trade market, positioning its Pro range as an essential ingredient in the making of high-end cocktails. Its single serve Mixer product range will be targeted at more mainstream pubs and bars.

The Funkin account will be led by Mercieca group account director Stuart Williams, reporting to Jaye Stahlhut, Funkin director of marketing.

Mercieca, a FMCG agency, last week won ‘Trade Press Agency of the Year’ for the tenth year running at The Gramias (Grocery Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards), held at The Savoy hotel in London. The Gramias celebrate the best creative campaigns in the FMCG industry, highlighting both client and agency contribution to creative excellence.
