More printing plants to close
The printing plants responsible for both the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo are set to close within the next fifteen months, and production moved to Oldham.
As many as 100 jobs at the Liverpool plants could be lost as Trinty Mirror looks to expand its Oldham plants.
Trinity Mirror is bringing to an end 154 years of newspaper printing in Liverpool plants in order to expand the colour presses in Oldham.
Newsquest announced that it too would be closing a plant at Colchester which had been printing the town’s Evening Gazette.
