Munro & Forster Communications (M&F) has become the retained agency for Sustain, a carbon reduction company.

This win adds to M&F’s portfolio of environmental clients, following its work for the inaugural Climate Week 2011. M&F has been shortlisted for a PR Week Award following the successful Climate Week campaign. The agency has also previously run campaigns for Act on CO2 and the Energy Saving Trust.

Sustain develops relationships with its clients by identifying key areas of cost and carbon reduction and putting it into practice. They’re taking several clients through the newly-launched pilot carbon labelling scheme in France which has over 168 global companies signed up.

Work will commence straight away, with M&F tasked with communicating Sustain’s offering to its target sectors via trade media, as well as building the company’s profile in national media outlets. M&F will be using a combination of press office activity and big creative ideas to gain traction for Sustain.

The team for Sustain includes Vicky McGuire, former Head of Media at NESTA, Sarah Brown, former Head of Press & PR at WRAP and Rakhee Shah, who brings expertise in ‘green’ property PR.
