Michael Lea joined the Daily Mail as political reporter this week. He replaces Jane Merrick, who is now the political editor at The Independent on Sunday.

Sophie Brodie has left her role as reporter on The Daily Telegraph. On her time at the paper she covered the subjects of property, utilities, law firms and accounting practices.
