NBC International editor goes freelance

Andy Oppenheimer has left his role as editor at NBC International to go freelance. However, he will continue to contribute to the title as consulting editor.

Robert de la Poer, currently editor of sister Surrey House Corporate Communication title Intersec, replaces Oppenheimer as editor of NBC International.

As a freelancer, Oppenheimer will specialise in issues relating to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE). His forthcoming book IRA: The Bombs and the Bullets – A History of Deadly Ingenuity will be published by Irish Academic Press in October 2008.

NBC International is published quarterly by Surrey House Corporate Communication and provides information on detection, protection, decontamination, hazard warning and prediction and training in the developing field of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.

Also published by Surrey House Corporate Communication, Intersec is published ten times a year and provides analysis international problems of terrorism, drug trafficking, international policing issues, internal security, and computer/communications security.
