New deputy editor for NWEM named

James Higgins has been named as the deputy editor of the North West Evening Mail. Higgins is currently assistant editor of the Bolton News, where he has worked for the past five years, but will leave the paper in August to take up his new position. His replacement at the Bolton News has yet to be announced.
