Chris Burton has been named as the new editor at a series of weekly titles in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Burton takes over the editorship of the Worksop Guardian, Retford Trader and Guardian, Dinnington Guardian, Worksop Trader, Dinnington Trader and Gainsborough Standard.

He replaces James Mitchinson, who became editor of the Grantham Journal and other Lincolnshire weekly titles in March of this year.
