Freelancer Nic Paton will be taking over the editorship of SalonFocus, the campaigning bimonthly magazine of the National Hairdressers’ Federation, from this month.

He will be editing the magazine on a freelance basis, and so remains available for other freelance work and commissions, but will be keen to receive relevant press releases and information on an ongoing basis. He can be contacted via the Freelance Journalist Directory – or specifically for SalonFocus,

Paton, a former Press Association journalist, is a regular contributor to national newspapers such as The Guardian, The Mail on Sunday and The Sunday Times as well as a wide range of professional and business-to-business publications and websites. He is also author of The Complete Career Makeover, published earlier this year through Guardian Books.
