Newtrade Publishing has announced that Stefan Appleby will become editor of Retail Express.

Currently associate editor at the paper, Appleby will take over from Chris Gamm, who was named editor of sister publication, Retail Newsagent, last week. Appleby and Gamm will start their new roles on the 28 July and 29 July, respectively.

Nick Shanagher, managing director of Newtrade, said, “Over the past two years he has helped develop Retail Express as a trusted tool for independents wanting to know where to look for their next business idea. Creative and energetic, Stefan will develop the newspaper in a positive direction.”
