The Crewe Chronicle has appointed Antonia Merola as news editor.

Merola, who was previously a senior reporter at the Shropshire Star, replaces Jan Roberts, who left earlier this year.

Belinda Ryan joins the Crewe Chronicle as chief reporter.

The Crewe Chronicle is published in three weekly editions covering Crewe,
Nantwich, Sandbach and Middlewich by Trinity Mirror Cheshire.

The Shropshire Star is a daily title published Monday to Saturday by Shropshire Newspapers.
