Nick Assinder joins IBTimes

IBT Media has appointed political journalist and seasoned Westminster veteran Nick Assinder as politics editor of International Business Times (IBTimes), the global online news publication.

IBT is expanding its UK edition. In August, it moved to offices in Canary Wharf which will be the launchpad for its agenda-setting coverage of domestic and international news.

Assinder will be joining a team of 35 journalists and video production staff. He has covered UK politics and international news for more than 25 years for news operations including the Daily Mail, Daily Express, BBC Online, and Time magazine, and he helped launch PoliticsHome in 2008.
