Observer to be revamped

By Staff

12th November 2009

The Observer is to lose three of its monthly magazines and cut four sections in a major overhaul planned for next year.

The monthly magazines for sport, women and music will stop and only the Observer Food Monthly will continue. Within the paper, news, sport and review will stay. Business and personal finance will be incorporated into the news section and travel will move into the weekly magazine.

Voluntary redundancy offers have been re-opened though the number of staff expected to be cut is still unknown.
