Octopus win BMW Group Financial Services

Following a three-way competitive pitch Octopus Communications has been appointed by BMW Group Financial Services to handle PR for BMW/MINI Financial Services, Alphabet, the Group’s multi-marque leasing company and Alphera Financial Services, its multi-make vehicle finance division.

BMW Group FS has ambitious plans for the brands within its portfolio and PR will play a pivotal role in driving awareness amongst the relevant consumer and B2B audiences.

Both Alphera and Alphabet have strong growth targets and Octopus will be working with the marketing team to develop thought leadership programmes and innovative strategies for positioning the brands at the forefront of their respective markets. For BMW/MINI Financial Services the focus will be on educating consumers and creating a real perception change for car finance.

Juliet Cameron, Head of Consumer at Octopus will lead the account and comments; “All the brands within the BMW Group FS are looking to step change their PR as they move to deliver even greater commercial results within their sectors.
