Opera Software, a provider of internet browsing and compression technology, has appointed CCgroup as strategic PR partner for its operator solutions business division.

CCgroup will act as a central strategic content hub, with primary ownership for campaign creation for Opera’s operator solutions division, which delivers products and services to over 120 global mobile operators. CCgroup will drive European implementation and work with one of its partners, Engage PR, to deliver activity in the US.

CCgroup’s remit will encompass Opera’s 'Rocket Optimizer' mobile video optimization solution, its 'Horizon' mobile web browser extension platform and its 'Web Pass' service.

CCgroup will work with Opera Software to build and execute campaigns to drive awareness of its operator-focused technology, supporting the generation of sales leads and demonstrating the value it delivers to global mobile operators.
