Midland News Association has launched Oswestry & Border Chronicle, a free weekly newspaper for Oswestry and Welshpool.

Launched last Thursday (11 March), the newspaper was distributed to 15,000 homes in the area.

Graham Breeze, formerly publishing director and editor in chief of opposition group NWN Media and more recently co-founder of hyperlocal websites mywelshpool.co.uk and mynewtown.co.uk, has been appointed as associate editor.
