Otto PR to support Physio-Control on EMEA communications strategy

Otto Communications & PR has been appointed by Physio-Control Inc. – the company offering development, manufacture, sale and service of emergency medical response devices, services and health informatics as its retained agency.

Otto will focus on both corporate and product communications in the EMEA region; support integrated pan-regional campaigns aimed at emergency services, pre-hospital and in-hospital audiences, as well as raising awareness of its solutions and product in key markets.

“We anticipate 2013 being a pivotal year for the company in terms of new product introductions and continuing to tell the Physio-Control story to our existing and new stakeholders. We’re excited to be partnering with the Otto team – which has in-depth knowledge of the medical devices market across Europe, but they also bring a creative spin on traditional and digital communications,” said Jennifer Roth, director global communications at Physio-Control.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Physio-Control – the company has a great story to tell. The company’s founder pioneered defibrillation technology in the mid-1950s and that spirit of innovation and commitment to science remains today and continues to define the standard for emergency response solutions. Physio-Control has a raft of exciting new innovations coming to market soon, so we’re excited to be partnering with them at such an exciting time for them,” said Shaun Wootton, co-founder at Otto.
