Square Peg Media's monthly LGBT magazine Out in the City is making the move from free distribution to newsstands.

Previously available free in London, Brighton and the South East of England's bars and clubs, it will become a paid-for title from the October issue. Going national, the publication will be carried in WH Smiths and various independent newsagents.

According to the editor David Hudson, this change reflects the reduction of gay venues across the UK.
