PA home affairs correspondent moves to Guardian

The Guardian has appointed Jamie Grierson as breaking news reporter.

Grierson joined on 30 March from his home affairs correspondent role at the Press Association, and has also previously served as city reporter and regional reporter at the agency, where he has worked for seven years. Prior to this, he was a reporter at The Gloucestershire Echo.

A replacement home affairs correspondent at Press Association has not yet been appointed; PRs are encouraged to contact the lobby newsdesk in the interim.
