Henry Deedes, Pandora editor, has left The Independent.

Pandora is The Independent’s daily diary column and Deedes became Pandora editor last summer, taking over from Oliver Duff, who moved to work on the paper’s newsdesk.

Alice Azania Jarvis, deputy diary editor, will be looking after the page for now.
