Partners Group retains tourism brief
York-based PR agency The Partners Group has retained a key tourism account following a re-pitch.
The York Archaeological Trust PR account incorporates briefs to publicise the Trust’s national archaeological and conservation work as well as the world-famous JORVIK Viking Centre and annual Viking Festival, which attracts 40,000 visitors every year.
It also covers the Trust’s other visitor attractions: medieval townhouse Barley Hall, the DIG archaeological adventure and Micklegate Bar Museum, as well as touring exhibitions Gladiators, Plague, Poverty and Prayer and the forthcoming exhibition, Valhalla: In search of the Viking dead.
Partners retained the account, which the agency has held for four years, in a competitive re-pitch.
The Partners Group, which has a specialist leisure and tourism division – Partners Leisure – works extensively in the sector with a range of museums and visitor attractions throughout the UK including English Heritage, Crich Tramway Village and York Maze.
