Play Radio replaces Radio Hampshire

Radio station Play Radio (Hampshire) has launched to replace the defunct Radio Hampshire, which closed on 28 May.

The new radio station, which is owned by Play Radio UK, serves Southampton, Winchester and southern Hampshire on the 107.2 and 107.8 frequencies.

It began broadcasting on Saturday 4 July.
