P&O Cruises has appointed Four Communications to handle its 175th anniversary consumer campaign.

On 3 July 2012 the “Grand Event” will unfold in Solent Water, off Southampton.

All seven ships in the P&O Cruises fleet will converge in formation together, to mark the cruise line’s 175th Anniversary. Each ship will then depart on its own Grand Event Cruise to different parts of the world.

Four Communications will work alongside P&O Cruise’s in-house PR department to handle a consumer programme, and to co-ordinate news and picture media logistics for the Grand Event. P&O Cruises PR team will retain all liaisons with travel editors, cruise writers and the travel trade press.
