Political editor joins the Scotsman
The Scotsman has appointed Ross Lydall as political editor.
Lydall was previously city hall editor at the Evening Standard. This role will be covered by political correspondent Pippa Crerar, but there will be no change to her job title.
Lydall replaces James Kirkup, who left The Scotsman for a role as political correspondent at the Daily Telegraph.
Lydall will be based in the press gallery at the House of Commons and his contact details can be found on FeaturesExec’s Media Database.
The Evening Standard is published in two daily editions by Associated Newspapers.
The Scotsman, part of the Scotsman Publications group, has a circulation figure of 52,993.
