Jargon PR raise over £3000 at Byte Night

Reading based Jargon Public Relations and their client, IT security risk consultancy Pentura have raised £3,163.94 for the charity Action for Children, by sleeping rough as part of the national event Byte Night on 8th October.

Cheltenham PR agency, Colin Higgins & Associates have picked up a Gold award in the West of England CIPR PRide awards, for the communications strategy they implemented throughout the sale of one of the UK’s largest ground handling companies, Aviance.

The drpgroup has realised its challenge to complete 30 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in its 30th anniversary year. The business has also managed to implement 30 environmental improvements to its activities, benefiting both the company and the clients it works with.

Throughout the year the drpvideo team has slept rough to raise awareness of homelessness for the YMCA, the drptechnicalservices team raised £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by climbing the three highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours, the drpevents team held an Easter event for the Wyre Forrest Day Opportunities charity and the drpdigitalmedia team hosted a day of fun and activities for children with complex learning needs at the Wyre Forest Go Ape facility.

Tech PR firm Vitis PR, is celebrating after being announced a finalist in the Best Small Business category of The Business Awards 2010, being held on 19 November at the Holte Suite, Villa Park.

Sky Communications International has won best UK based Property PR Consultancy at the International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television.
