The Johnston Press is to close one of its printing units later this month as part of its continued shake-up.

The print site at Upper Mounts near Kettering is currently used to produce 40 of JP’s titles, including the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph and Northampton Chronicle, and prints more than one million copies per week.

The printing will now relocate to Peterborough.
