The Ecologist has appointed Richard Coles publisher of the monthly magazine.

Coles replaces Jemima Ransome who has moved to the BBC.

The Ecologist is an environmental affairs magazine covering ecology, conservation and ethic trade issues. It recently underwent a redesign, publishing its new look format at the end of September.
