Punch Communications launches internship competition
Punch Communications has launched FuturePR campaign, inviting UK students and graduates to compete for a summer internship with the agency.
The campaign is being promoted through the agency’s Twitter and Facebook channels and via www.punchcomms.com/futurePR. Students and graduates who specialise in PR or related courses are invited to creatively debate what the future of PR will look like via Punch’s twitter feed, @punchcomms and by using the #futurepr hashtag.
A shortlist of the 20 most creative and insightful responses will be invited to create and submit a more detailed response in the form of either an article, blog, press release or video. The top three entries will be uploaded to Punch’s website where they will be put to a public vote; the winner of which will be awarded the internship.
Pete Goold, managing director of Punch Communications, commented: “The PR industry is ever-evolving, particularly with advancements in modern technology, social media and how we consume news. As such, any PR practitioner worth their salt needs to adapt with these changes and help shape the industry to ensure that they can properly advise their clients and meet the changing needs of the media.”
