London Press Club

‘It was the readers wot won it – London Press Club/Society of Editors Debate’ will take place on Wednesday 26 July, 6 for 6.30pm until 8pm at Reuters Building (Canary Wharf). Chair Andrew Rawnsley, Political Columnist for The Observer, will be joined by a panel including Columnists Amanda Platell and John Rentoul and Reuters Regional Editor Simon Robinson.

The debate will discuss Trump tweets, Jeremy Corbyn’s youthquake and a shock General Election result to present the question ‘are print journalists or social media better plugged into voters?’. Results of a specially commissioned YouGov poll for the debate on ‘How today’s voters get their political news’ will be revealed on the night.
