The Bath Chronicle has made a number of editorial team changes including some job cuts as it prepares to become a weekly newspaper on Thursday 27 September.

Alan Williams is now deputy news editor, Jackie Chappell is features editor,
Cath Foster is health reporter and Rupert Hall business reporter.

Williams was assistant news editor and replaces Tom Bradshaw. Chapell replaces Georgette McCready and was previously her deputy. Foster and Hall replace Laura Matless and Matthew Pardo respectively.

The Halifax Evening Courier has appointed Pauline Hawkins as arts and entertainment writer following the retirement of Gordon Sampson.

News editor Will Batchelor has left the Daily Post Wales. A replacement is to be appointed soon.
