Prosecco brand, Follador, has appointed Relish PR to raise brand awareness as it invests in the UK for the first time.
Relish’s senior account director Naomi Broadfoot said: “Since Follador is so new to the UK, initially Relish’s activities will be centred around the wine trade press – building brand awareness in the trade and thus helping to increase distribution. We will do this by distributing news stories about the brand, as well as involvement in relevant scheduled features.
As distribution builds, we will extend the PR activities to reach out to the consumer press – including press trips to the winery and region, and product-led features.”
Follador opened the doors to its new Mayfair office this month bringing its portfolio of sparkling and still wines to the UK, specifically the premium on-trade and independent retail sectors.
