salt is opening its first overseas office, in Singapore. The new office opens on 5 March as a hub for global and regional programmes. It will be run by Marianne Blamire who joined salt in 2007.
The firm is expanding to Singapore to build on existing business there and develop new opportunities with multinationals. 60% of businesses in Singapore are multinationals, and 70% of multinationals in the region use Singapore as their base.
“As well as helping our existing clients communicate better in Asia, we want to help Asian brands grow globally,” says Marianne Blamire, Director of salt Singapore. “The trend for brands to move from East to West is clear, and we believe our experience in helping brands create platforms and systems for global communication, can help Asian brands in that journey.”
