Media World Ltd. has set up an online TV channel for bars, pubs, hotels and restaurants in Scotland.

The publisher, which owns trade publication DRAM, has launched the channel on a platform created by Livente. It can be accessed via www.barandpub.tv.

Susan Young, publisher of DRAM, said, "We will be bringing news of the licensed trade to the people working in it in a very accessible video format. But we will also be reaching out to pub customers encouraging them to visit their 'local'."

The videos appear under many different headings: News; Talking Heads; Bar and Pub Tours; Business, Awards and Events; and Fun Stuff. There are also the latest drink adverts.
