Senior marketing manager arrives at Newsflare

Newsflare has hired Sian Melonie as its senior marketing manager with a brief to grow the company’s global community of videographers.

The news follows Newsflare’s recent announcement that Gary Morgan, former head of Splash News, had joined Newsflare as strategic advisor.

Melonie joins from Consumers’ Association watchdog, Which?, where as senior partnerships and digital marketing executive she spearheaded a number of high profile multichannel marketing campaigns. Prior to that, her time at the Guardian Media Group as senior marketing executive saw Melonie design and deliver national campaigns in line with the mass media company’s ‘digital-first’ initiative.
