Sheffield Star editor steps down
The Star’s editor, Alan Powell, has stepped down from the role after 44 years in journalism.
Powell has edited The Star since 2005 and before that was editor of sister paper the Sheffield Telegraph.
He is replaced by John Furbisher, who was the paper’s acting editor and was previously editor of the Halifax Evening Courier.
