Shrewsbury Today has launched

Shropshire Star's former editor Sarah-Jane Smith and former deputy editor Jon Simcock have teamed up to launch news and lifestyle magazine Shrewsbury Today.

Simcock has taken on the role of editor, with Smith as publisher. 

The bi-monthly magazine's 10,000 copies were distributed in the town centre and selected estates and villages on 8 May.

Shrewbury Today is also supported by a website and the team can be found tweeting @shrewstoday.

This title will be added to the FeaturesExec Media Database shortly.
