Smoking Gun PR has announced that Victoria Barker will be joining the agency as associate director in November.

Barker, who is leaving her current role as PR manager at Shop Direct Group, brings a wealth of experience in fashion, youth and property marketing and will join the senior management team alongside husband and wife team Rick and Vanessa Guttridge.

It is the second time managing director Rick Guttridge has employed Barker after first recruiting her when the pair were at Brazen.

Smoking Gun recently moved into its Spinningfields office in the heart of Manchester’s business and leisure district.
