Solomons leaves the FT for Australia
Mark Solomons, assistant news editor at the Financial Times, is leaving the paper at the end of the year to move to Australia with his family.
Solomons, who joined the FT nine years ago as a general sub-editor, has also worked as acting financial news editor, European companies editor, Paris reporter and writer on the Creative Business supplement.
Prior to joining the FT, he was international business editor of Billboard, the US music trade paper.
Solomons said: “I’m keeping an open mind until we’ve settled in but I’m interested in making contacts within the Australian media. I will remain contactable at marksolomons@me.com.”
