Aspectus PR, a global communications and PR agency focusing on financial services, energy, engineering and B2B technology and events, has been appointed by The Society of Petroleum Engineers London Section (SPE London) to manage the PR campaign for its annual conference for the oil and gas industry and City professionals.

The campaign will build on the success of last year's event, and drive delegate registrations to this year's conference through a combination of traditional media relations and social media.

Held between 22-23 May at Savoy Place, SPE London's second annual conference will focus on "managing oil and gas portfolios in uncertain markets". It has been developed specifically for senior oil and gas industry and City professionals working in sectors such as corporate finance, asset acquisitions and divestitures, corporate mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, equity research, portfolio management, business development, and the valuation of oil and gas assets.
