Hackney Gazette sports editor, Phil Ravitz, has left the paper to become press officer at Dagenham & Redbridge FC.

Ravitz, who became head of sports production over three years ago, took redundancy earlier this month, leaving the Gazette and East London Advertiser. Trevor Davies will take over Ravitz’s patch as group sports editor.
