Sports team shrinks on Scottish newspaper

The Evening Times’ sports editor, David Stirling, is the latest to accept voluntary redundancy on the paper.

The sports editorial team for the daily newspaper has been reduced from 11 to five within the last two years.

Stirling had previously worked for 20 years at the Daily Record, before spending 13 years at The Evening Times, which is published by Newsquest (Herald & Times).
